Winter League has finally arrived after a disappointing Summer League where the Ichthyologists lost the division crown that the official team of the MCELC has held for over three years.  The Ichthyologists team has not totally returned with some new names replacing Matthew and Andrew (see New Names).  Also replacing the Ichthyologists name is the all-new Vexillologists, a name you should get used to hearing and learn how to pronounce.

GAME : 1

Brett Bieber made his debut worth it, leading the team in game one with his high game of the week.  Lindsay and Mike fought it out in what was the first of many Runkel Wars to come.  Mike won the first game by nine pins.  Fegley backed up Brett with his lowest game of the week

GAME : 2

Fegley wasn't going to allow Brett to take another game from him, as he shot his highest game of the week to lead the team in the second game.  Brett however did have another solid game to help the cause.  Lindsay came back in game two to take from her brother by twenty-one pins.

GAME : 3

Mike struck back in the third game but not enough to take series from his sister.  He became the first and only Runkel to break the century mark in this young winter league season.  Fegley again lead the team in the third game of the series.  Brett fell off the table of sorts, not keeping up with his first two games.

The Vexillologists lost scratch series to Strike Force, but the totals are unavailable until all handicaps are figured and applied.  Estimated scores result in the Vexillologists taking games one and three.  The two teams however tied in total pinfall.
