After last week's crushing defeat, that forced the Vexilloligsts into third place, the team went toe to toe with the last place team, Rachel and us. Now three and a half games out of first and just two out of second, it was time for the fish studiers to start living up to their potential. Brett Bieber woke up purging his system (to put it nicely) and was unable to put in his effort and his scores will be represented by his average minus ten pins.

GAME : 1

Game one was an uplifting one as the team finished twenty pins above average and defeating Rachel & Us by 79 pins. Lindsay beat out her brother in game one while earning herself a role of toilet paper, this marked the first time that Lindsay beat her brother and the Vexilloligsts team won. Fegley's score was high as Brett's representing scores were second.

GAME : 2

Game two's margin of victory was a little bit tighter as a mere 26 pins separated the two teams. Fegley's low game of the week lead the team as Brett followed up again. Mike shot his high game of the season and beat out his sister and took the lead in total pinfall for the first two games.

GAME : 3

Game two was a downright nailbiter as Rachel & Us shot their high team game of the season. The Vexillolgists did manage to win by nine pins and completed the sweep. Fegley struck out in the tenth to hit his high game of the week while breaking 200. Mike tied his third game and high game of the season while beating out his sister once more.

RECAP

Mike's highest series of the season carried him to a three of four victory over his sister for the week, increasing his season total (12-8). With the team taking all four and the first and second place teams splitting their series the Vexillologists move into a tie for second place and just one and a half games out of first.
