Last week the Vexillologists managed to gain some ground in the standings with a sweep of the last place team.  This week they had a perfect opportunity to take over first place, all they had too do was beat Chris Long and the first place team.  Strike Force, who is tied with the Vexillologists for second, was taking on the last place team and also were in great shape to pick up a few games.

GAME : 1

Overall game one was pretty uplifting, with three out of four bowlers hitting over their averages.  Brett Bieber had his high game of the week and led the team.  Lindsay and Mike battled it out, Mike coming away with the two pin victory despite both of them being over 100.  However, Fegley's first game cost the team a win.

GAME : 2

In game two Brett and Fegley battled all the way to the end, Brett fended off Fegley at the end and took the five pin W.  Mike fell of the table of sorts, letting his sister win game two by twenty-five pins.  Overall the team finished seventeen pins below game one and lost by fifty-six.

GAME : 3

Game three certainly didn't treat Brett well as he quickly went from first to worst.  Fegley rebounded from his brutal first two games to finish with a decent series.  Lindsay and Mike both had their high games of the week and both beat Brett.  Lindsay did manage to take game three from her brother, capping off the series as well while the team lost game three.

RECAP

Lindsay hit her high game of the season as well as her high series, beating her brother three games to one overall, dwindling his lead. (13-11). Chris Long and the Strikers completed the sweep of the Vexillologists pushing them back into third place, five and a half games out.  Strike Force swept the last place team and stayed one and a half games out of first
