Now well over a month since the Vexillologists have completed their last sweep of any team, they are two games under 500 and nine games out of first place.  Strike Force left the door wide open by not showing up and therefore giving Rachel and Us an easy four wins.  The second place Strikers and the third place Vexillologists dueled it out to decide who would be able to capitalize on the first place team's folley.

GAME : 1

Game one's scores didn't favor the Vexillologists any.  Every member of Strike Force brutalized their average and grand totaled a cool 800 team game.  Although the Vexillologists didn't take it lying down.  Oh wait, yes they did.  Mike Runkel was the only Flag studier to break average, or even get near it for that matter.  Brett Bieber barely broke 100, Lindsay didn't come close, and Fegley tied his second lowest game of the season.  Needless to say the Vexillologists where handed a decisive loss.

GAME : 2

Improvements came in the second game, unfortunately for both sides.  While the Vexillologists made 143 pin improvement over their first game, it wasn't enough to stop the storming Strike Force team, on a mission to prove they can win with out Kyle Knepp.  Brett made the biggest improvement on the team, beating up on his first game by 50 pins.  Mike and Lindsay both tied with each of their high games of the week.  Fegley also shot his highest game of the week and lead the team.

GAME : 3

Game three fell between the first two but with no difference in the outcome.  Mike Runkel shot his fourth straight game over average and eight of his last nine.  Lindsay was unable to stop him as she has not defeated her brother during that stretch.  Fegley and Brett stayed with in ten pins of their averages but neither could break through.

RECAP

Another solid week of bowling for Mike Runkel gives him three more wins and puts a tally in the tie column in his lead over his sister (25-14-1).  Unfortunately the team was not so fortunate.  Losing all four puts the team six games under .500 and ten games out of first.  With the win Strike Force has taken over first place and has a one game lead over second place.
