Seemingly dead in the water, the Vexillologists continue to sink like a rock in the middle of the Atlantic.  The new first place team, the Strikers, took on second place Strike Force giving the Vexillologists the perfect opportunity to gain some ground.  Especially since the flag studiers went toe to toe against the last place team in the league.  But this wouldn't be the first time that "Rachel and Us" stepped it up and defeated the Vexillologists

GAME : 1

Game one was a close one all the way to the very end.  Despite Fegley being the only person over average and only by one pin.  Mike Runkel again defeated his sister, now winning nine of his last ten.  Brett did come close to his average, with his high game of the week.  In the end "Rachel and Us" edged out the Vexillologists by 28 pins, taking game one.

GAME : 2

Game two was a step in the right direction, the team managed to comeback and shot their highest game of the season.  Both Fegley and Lindsay shot their highest games of the season.  Fegley with his first 200 game in over five weeks.  Lindsay was finally able to take a game from her brother and snapped his impressive streak.  Overall the team grabbed a 100 pin victory in game two.

GAME : 3

Where did that team go, the team that dominated game two was nowhere to be found when game three rolled around.  Lindsay went from her high game straight down to her low game of the week, allowing her brother who also shot his low game of the week, to again defeat her.  Brett had over five opens and also had his lowest game of the week.  Fegley was no different, joining Lindsay in her trip from high game to low.  Another disappointing game totaled another Vexillologists loss.

RECAP

Despite Mike Runkel ending his streak of impressiveness, he still split the series with his sister and lost no ground in the season total (27-16-1).  The Vexillologists team also split the series with the last place team.  The Strikers swept Strike Force and added to their lead, Strike Force's loss allowed the Vexillologists to gain two games on second place.
