It is a beautiful thing when the opposing team does not show up nor do they pre-bowl.  When this occurs the team that does show up gets an automatic sweep no matter what they shoot.  This was the case when the Vexillologists and the Strikers faced off.  The two remaining members of the Strikers failed to show and thus giving the slumping Vexillologists a much needed sweep.

GAME : 1

Fegley came off his best week of the season with a pathetic score, despite leading the team.  Brett struggled all the way as he capped his average by a single pin.  Mike Runkel also beat his average by a single digit margin and defeated his sister who joined Fegley in the ranks people that didn't break average.

GAME : 2

Game two was slight step up for the team as the improved by 21 total pins over their first game.  Fegley contributed ten pins to that mark as he again lead the team.  Lindsay came back in a major way to beat her brother who also had another solid game.  Brett, however, had his worst game of the week, he was also beaten by Lindsday

GAME : 3

Brett did indeed come back, he lead the team in the third game as Fegley shot his worst game of the season.  Mike and Lindsay both fell below the century mark with Mike taking the victory by five pins.  Overall it was the teams worst game of the week and an atrocious series.  Good thing the other team did not show up.

RECAP

Mike again increased his lead over his sister (30-17-1).  He is undoubtedly dominating this season's Runkel War.  The Vexillologists team took advantage of the sweep that was given to them.  The pulled to within four games of second place and nine games out of first.  They are now only two game under 50
