Coming off last week's four game sweep the Vexillologists are just two games under 500.  But with time running out in the first half of the season they needed to start their run at first place if they are planning to make one.  Should they not win the first half they will have to dominate the second half of the season in order to make up for it.  In lucky week 13 they took on the first place team, a perfect way to start a comeback.

GAME : 1

They couldn't have asked for a better start to the week, everybody broke average as the team just missed their season high scratch game.  Fegley lead the team with a rare 200 game.  Mike defeated his sister, both shot their high games of the week.  Brett barely made his average but was indeed over it as the Vexillologists took game one from the Strikers.

GAME : 2

Brett shot his high game of the week as he defeated Fegley to lead the team for the second game.  Lindsay and Mike battled it out but they both ended up under average with Lindsay prevailing and tying the series after two games.  Fegley shot his lowest game of the week as the Strikers came back and evened up the score.

GAME : 3

Fegley wasn't about to let Brett take two games in a row, coming back from a disappointing second game he just missed another 200 and led the team.  Brett did manage to break his average, making it all three games this week.  Lindsay and Mike just didn't have the drama in the third game.  Lindsay managed the hysterical 111 and Mike shot his low game of the week losing to his sister.

RECAP

By taking the third game of the series the Vexillologists managed split the series, keeping them two games under 500 and nine games out of first.  Lindsay was finally able to make up some ground in the Runkel War series with her three to one win (31-20-1).  She is still well behind her brother and needs to make a move soon if she has any intentions of winning this thing.
