Things seem to be getting brighter for the demoralized
Vexillologists. Now actually over a .500 winning percentage and
only four games out of first, it seems as if they are actually climbing
out of the deep, deep hole that they have dug themselves. In week
fifteen the Vexillologists took on the Strikers, a team currently tied
for first place. This week they got to see if there really is a
light at the end of the tunnel, or if it is just the train quickly
approaching. GAME : 1
Game one appeared to be a bright beacon for the week and the rest of
the first half. With three out of four members of the team over
their averages, it all looked fine and dandy. But the two bowlers
on the Strikers were far over their averages and rendered the
Vexillologists effort ineffective. Fegley did manage to lead the
team with his high game of the week. Brett finished the game
strong to take his average by three pins, while Lindsay defeated her
struggling brother who needs to work on keeping his shoulders squared up
and slowing down his approach and ball speed.

John Fegley- 195
GAME : 2
After the first game's defeat, the Vexillologists lost their zing.
Fegley still lead the team but only by eight pins over Brett.
Lindsay picked up a pin on her first game and again knocked off her
brother as the team game two to the first place team.

John Fegley- 158
GAME : 3
After losing game two the team woke up and shot their high game of
the week. Fegley again led the team and finished just one pin
below his first game, his high game. Brett did in fact shoot his
high game completing a series where he was over average all three games.
Lindsay lost in her effort to sweep her brother who shot his high game
of the week, but was still over average. The Vexillologists
managed to win game three and avoid the sweep.

RECAP
By only winning one game in the series the team fell to an even .500
winning percentage. Lindsay again gained ground in the Runkel War
series by taking three of four from Mike Runkel who still leads the
series by a dwindling margin (32-27-1). The Strikers and Strike
Force remain tied for first place after both teams took three out of
four games.
