Things are getting too close for comfort for the team that is in
desperate need of a championship. Much like the Yankees, the
Vexillologists franchise has a history of dominance in recent years.
However the past two league championships do not belong to them.
Unlike the Yankees, the Vexillologists are not about to go out and buy
some big name free agents. They are just looking to perform better
in order to improve themselves in the standings. This week the
took on "Rachel & Us," a team that has given them much difficulty
this season. GAME : 1
The first game statistically was a solid game. However, the
results did not agree with the statistics as Rachel and us shot well
over their average and combined that with their handicap and managed to
take game one by seven pins. Fegley lead the team with his first
200 in four weeks. Brett followed him up with his highest game of
the week as Lindsay and Mike changed the rules and tried to see who
could shoot the lowest, with Lindsay winning that by three pins.

GAME : 2
The team stepped it up in game three with everybody with Lindsay over
their average. Amazingly Lindsay managed to bowl worse than she
did in game one. Fegley again lead the team with his high game of
the week as Mike defeated his sister with his high. Brett came in
a close second losing out to his first game by a single pin while the
team managed to squeak out a victory by twenty-two pins.

GAME : 3
Game three had the whole match on the line with total pinfall and the
series up for grabs. The Vexillologists however failed to step up
to the challenge with every member, with the exception of Lindsay,
shooting their low games of the week. Fegley barely beat Brett out
for team high while blowing what should have been an easy 600 series.
Lindsay shot her highest game of the week and her only one over the
century mark. She beat out her brother by twenty-four pins as he
shot his average. This margin was enough to give her series over
him as well. Lindsay's scores were unable to keep the
Vexillologists from losing by over seventy pins.

RECAP
Lindsay managed to salvage as split after losing the first two games
of the week. Her lead keeps the same margin that it had coming
into the week (49-40-3). The disappointing week for the team
dropped them out of first place, a view that they have gotten used to
after the first half of the season. Hopefully this ousting will
not last long and the team will be able to take back first next week.
